Hi,
Today it is almost unavoidable to buy stuff not mfg there. Their quality is surprisingly good, I have to admit. Still, I like to buy American, Canadian or British as much as possible. My preamp (C-J), speakers (Maggies, Vandersteen, NHT), and turntable (SOTA) are all mfg in USA. My tonearm is British (SME) as are a pair of older Celestion mini-monitors. Right now the only Canadian gear I have is the excellent Mye stands for my Maggie 1.6s, but there's an intriguing company Bent Audio that I'm keeping an eye on. They're apparently reworking the already excellent Mu moving coil step-up transformers. I may go for those when they become available again.
Cheers, Joe
