The system I have has been a work in progress for over 5 years since I decided to get back into audio. Got tired of listening to music from computer speakers.
Since getting back into audio, I've become reaquainted to some nice folks and the usual high-end audio yutzs. The nice folks care about the music and the ways to enjoy it better or more; the yutzs brag about soundstage, blackness and detail. Also, the gear exists on all different, relative levels. From mass amrket consumer electronics to smaller production audiophile manufacturers to boutique esoteric exotica - there's always something more elite if you wanna play the gear game.
Someboby thinks my setup is crap? Well I don't care, and besides, it's not finished yet! (Think William Hurt in The Big Chill - "So what have you evolved into?")
