Yes it is (does (was (might have been))) ... and ever shall be.

Consider: The very first color moving picture with sound was == "The Great Train Robbery" by Thomas Edison.

Consider: the world's most popular entertainment medium is == talk radio.

Consider: ... Yoohoo chocolate soda ... the parachute ... snowmobiles ...

The point is that all of these technologies keep getting better and better ... and now with laser read / write DVD's we come full circle to the very first quality phonograph design (variable RPM control, closely spaced "grooves", multi-channel encoding ...
