HowdyPerhaps you don't know me, but I've been an inmate here for quite a while. It actually is a coincidence that I noticed this thread here on General, I just started posting again a few days back ( http://www.audioasylum.com/forums/hirez/messages/224992.html ) and started reading General a little later, if you look I have a few posts :)
Anyway, perhaps I stepped into it this time. I just don't like people spreading rumors, bad mouthing companies and putting words in my mouth.
Let me be clear I don't know for sure if the thread you were talking about over at AudioGon was the thread people talked to me about and I certainly have no idea what's behind the thread disappearing there (Like I said I only post and read here at the Asylum and have no idea what goes on elsewhere unless people talk to me about it, even then I don't read the posts.)
We went over to Mike's later in the day and had a good time with him and the guests which were still there. We played with some equipment and did some A/Bing, but we spent most of the time enjoying Mike's wonderful turntable.
I'm not trying to be evasive, but I didn't have the time to properly listen to the differences of the equipment that was there and won't publicly comment till I have listened with a variety of material and plenty of time.
