You could try disconnecting say the rear and middle speaker to lessen the load and see if still happens. Is the receiver well ventilated? If it's enclosed in a closed rack with doors, pull it out and give it cooler air flow. If you've had the system for awhile and this just started happening, the receiver probably needs repair. If it's always happened.....get a new receiver.
