Thanks for your suggestions but..... "1) Triangulate your speakers. You're are really too close to them and they should be spread further apart. Think equalateral triangle."
As per Merlin's instructions, the VSM is not supposed to be more than 6 ft apart and you should be further away from the speakers that the distance they are apart.
I can't back up any further, I'm against the wall (Literally).
I did have them spread further apart, but ended up with a weak center image with orchestral music.
"2) Consider placing them on the short wall firing down the length of your room."
Been there, done that :-(
The image was great when I did that, but I lost the bass. I moved those speakers around for 2 days straight and was never able to find a spot where it would produce any bass at all.
So far it sounds like we're dealing with a room problem, rather than an equipment problem, correct?
