The best way to ship anything 66lbs or less and worth less than $1000 TO Canada is USPS.As I'm in Canada I don't have experience as a US receiver of goods, but I've sent many items by CANPOST (USPS does the US part of the delivery) to US buyers and never a word of complaint.
I don't know what brokerage and taxes are incurred in the US direction, but in the Canadian direction for items covered by NAFTA the brokerage is $5 CAD and the taxes are 7%GST and whatever PST is charged by the destination province. The GST and PST charges are the same as that charged for a local purchase.
