like a Bryston amp.another 'safe' alternative - buy from a manufacturer who re-sells trade in stuff. Eg., I bought some pre-owned speakers from Tyler Acoustics that had come back on Ty's 'trade-up' policy. I didn't loose any sleep wondering if they'd work or if they'd arrive in some bad shape.
