Im an avid cat lover as many audiophiles are.I have a scratching post for my cat but I finally had her declawed because she didnt use the post and she would climb my drapes so I said enough of that.You can declaw them if they are indoor cats with no problem.Why people think you cant is beyond me.Its no different then neutering your dog and you still realize he has the urge to hump your house guests leg.Its all instinctive and cat my still tries to scratch from instinct.
