Hey Mike! Start spending more time at the local folk or jazz venues is a wonderful idea as long as there is just a minimal PA system............Best thing about your Kharma speakers was the bass in your old house, but they didn't throw a palpable stage there and glad the VR-9s do a better job of that albeit in a better room...........I think I would leave it alone now that you have the Tenors driving the new speakers......I'll be up in your area visiting the newlyweds in less than a month and hope to come by for a listen while I am in the area.......
