filter of any kind."This argument follows a well trodden path and no doubt it will surface again in another few months, the issue of how audible any 'problems' are and whether the benefits of omitting the filter outweigh them.
Rather than argue ad nauseum it's really down to the individual listener to suck it and see. Personally I'm confident that the vast majority who are confident enough to trust their own ears will find the Audio Note DACs a breath of fresh air with the primary impression being that of a natural, unfatiguing presentation.
If digital filter technology was so advanced and successful there wouldn't be so many disgruntled audio enthusiasts looking for the latest 'upgrade', higher resolution digital technology or turntable.
