The epitome of high-end automotive engineering! Gaughhhh!! (I wouldn't care if I wasn't planning on getting one)I think it comes down to supply and demand. With their ads in Smithsonian, Nat'l Geographic, etc. most people think of Bose as "high quality" and "high tech". So the demand is there to support putting them into cars. Most people that would buy such cars are not audiophiles.
In reality, though, it doesn't matter. Anyone that can afford such a car can afford to put in a better system. So I am not mad at Porsche for that. I am just disappointed in Porsche because they should know better...
