I have a list but to make my list a speaker must meet the following guidelines:1. It has to have a bit of history. Speakers that were released last month are not legible. The test of time is important, especially in this hobby.
2. They are, or have been in the past readily available, meaning you could actually buy them.3. They can be expensive but they can’t cost more than the most expensive Mercedes or the cheapest house you can buy. Anything that cost more than that is really not available.
So hear is my list in no particular order:
The Advent Loudspeaker
Quad 63’s
LS3/5a’s
Any Tannoy Dual Concentric between 1950 and 1975.
Vandersteen 5’s--Dan
