People at head-fi.org frequently use Audiocubes for Japanese headphones. It is a US based direct importer of Japan hi-fi and their prices still seem pretty good, although probably not as cheap as directly from a dealer in Japan.I have seen recommendations for pricejapan.com . They are basically a shipping service that will help you purchase at the lowest price available in Japan, and add on tax, shipping and 5% service fee. The catch: it is up to you to locate the lowest priced vendor. They make suggestions where to look (some are Japanese-only websites) and they also seem to have a service to find a dealer and quote you a price.
