Perhaps the problem lies more with the 'literalists' . Those individuals who need to hold onto hard fast rules to make sense of the world.Meanwhile, the shall we call him [her] the 'conceptualist' has the ability to actually see through the literal 'facts' that sometimes cloud the real underlying structural concept [truth] in any given situation.
Theory or theorem makes no difference. Whatever theory or laws you apply to audio, if they don't SOUND GOOD, they don't work and you need to start over. Measurements notwithstanding.
We got here in a boat. One with more than one passenger, and each posseses strengths that are essential to the process. It is counterproductive to vilify either.
