Well, most of my Audiogon transactions have been as a seller--all of which have gone well, because I try to "delight" the buyer, with the condition/packaging of whatever I am selling.The few times I have been a buyer, I have been less than pleased--but never enough to leave a negative feedback. However, in one instance, the seller advertised his speakers as being in mint condition--and they were far from it. They must have been placed in a location in which they were subject to being splashed, because the sides of the speakers were full of spots where the finish had come off. Also, there were a couple of dents on the front corner of one speaker, which of course, he blamed on the shipper.
This seller had 10 or so positive ratings at the time, and the ad even had pictures--so I figured I was safe...
