Well, the fellow, "Will" got back to me (via email) today. I had asked him for an estimate on repairing the balance control. He didn't specifically address my inquiry, he merely offered "free" repairs to the unit if I send it in for his "upgrade". He also offered a 10% discount for prepayment of the upgrade. Makes me wonder why he views a prepayment worthy of such a premium? Is this guy trustworthy to do the job in a timely, effective manner & not just pocket my prepayment?
After hearing all kinds of horror stories from all manner of businesses, I guess I am somewhat paranoid.
