Yes,.. another sub question

I have an Onkyo stereo reciever with channels A and B. I have MMG's hooked up to "A" channel along with a nice sub. I have a nice little Dahlquist 8" sub that I would like to hook up on the other side of the room to "fill the void" . Can I hook up "B" channel to sub inputs without adding speakers to the outputs on the sub? Since the sub is a powered sub I believe, or hope that it will recieve the signal from the reciever and yet not "suck" any power from it. The Onkyo has no low level inputs just channels A and B. Also, running a pair of 4 ohm speakers is fine but adding another pair of speakers is not recomended by the manufacturer, I tried it anyways with some 8 ohm speakers on the "B" channel but since they were so sensitive, they over powered the MMG's but the sub would be nice, I know it, I just know,
