First of all, math is NOT natural science of the usual sense. Mathematics need not presume the existence of nature, (although a lot of motivation comes from nature), and natural science by definition is the study of nature by scientific means.I'm guessing that ggraff meant to say that only mathematics has the logical completeness.
Regarding Don's comments, one word. "Pure Mathematics". The independence of mathematics from anything else is actually quite a virtue for its creative process.
