When does sound from speakers become music? Music in it's most basic form is maths. The problem is skilled musicians seem to know when to change the strict maths of what is written to make it musical. It is this preception by the listener and how it differs in each person that makes scientific measurement fall down when trying to determine the quality of the hi-fi hardwear. I don't know if what I've just said is totally relevent to this disscussion, as I am a musician not a scientist!
