Melos SHA-Gold schematic?

The balance control on my SHA Gold is kaput. Nothing but a loud grinding noise. A local tech is looking at it & told me a schematic would be VERY helpful. Anyone have one or know where one may be gotten? Thanks much for the help. I know about Melos Restoration, but right now I am a bit loathe to pay $500 or so to fix a balance problem.
