It seems to me that there are different (even conflicting) theories regarding isolation, and the numerous products mentioned in your posts are the results of those. It would be best to choose an isolation device that is consistent with the philosophy of the designer of your TT. The manufacturer's suggestion will provide a good starting point, and you can improvise according to your taste.
