I have the 600s, and have also owned the 580s.I use them with an Audio Alchemy headphone amp, and Grado RA1 battery powered amp.But have also used them with the headphone stages of various other amps and various Walkmen, Discmen etc - with no problems whatsoever - just dont expect ear shattering levels and extreme levels of detail when using them with lesser devices - IMHO!
