I am the original owner of a Nak ZX-9. I originally bought it to record classical music for my daughter's figure skating competitions. It has served me well over the years. I did some live recording at a classical concert once and the sound rivals that of master tapes in my opinion. I did have an opportunity to audition and compare the ZX-9 to the Dragon and I preferred the ZX-9 due to the ability to manually set the recording parameters ( better fine tuning than the automatic settings of the Dragon ). By the way---my ZX-9 is still in perfect condition after almost 16 years.
