Couldn't this attribute be more a factor of the cables, electronics (both very important), power conditioning and tweaks (less important) driving a particular speaker? Also, I've found that a well balanced bottom end also seems to enhance the highs. What I'm trying to say is that a speaker in system A may be very detailed and smooth, but in system B, that same speaker may sound terrible. It's more about synergy than picking best of breed. Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir. ;)I'm curious about your speaker cables...I've never heard 30 AWG magnet wire. Have you always used this? What length is it?
Thanks.
