With all due respect, there can be no comparison. Your bass traps would have to be larger than the room to absorb frequencies below 40 Hz. (OK slight exaggeration, the concep sticks though).And no real-world physical absorption system can have the Tact's resolution.
With the Tact bass traps become irrelevant.
When considering price think that you replace your DAC and preamp. You could, for instance, use a $400 DVD machine and get virtually world class sound.
