Polk SDA-2, by far...

I bough a pair of these back in 1985. I was a sophomore in high school at the time. I put too much faith in some SDA reviews in High Fidelity and Stereo Review magazines at the time --> you know, where everything sounds "smooth, clean, and detailed." Man, that $1200 was burning a hole in my pocket and I was too impatient to listen to much else. After I bought them, I blew threw tweeters like it was going out of style! Apparently, this was common because the dealer always gave me new ones no questions asked and he always had PLENTY on hand. I was never very happy with them and sold them 5 years later for $650.
