RE: Where did/do you learn about audio, sound and acoustics?

Saturday mornings being woken up by Ray Charles, Charley Pride, Hank Williams, plus others as I came down the steps. My dad would be playing tunes pretty loud on a Sony receiver, Garrard turntable and Magnavox speakers. His engineering buddies would bring gear buy and they'd sit around comparing components, listening to music and yes, drinking a beer or two. They had so much fun and I was not immune, although at the time I didn't really care for the music. When I got a little older and dad had improved the system Dual 1229 and AR3a's, I was suddenly the cool kid with awesome audio gear. Now I just needed the music!
