RE: Where did/do you learn about audio, sound and acoustics?

Growing up, I was exposed to HiFi by my Dad, and his father (with my Dad's influence) had a built in system-
then reading -
SAMS publications, the Audio Press - I started in the '70s, so Stereo Review, then Stereophile, TAS, Listener, Audio Armature
I also had the fortune to work in the industry - this provided me with a mixture of facts and science/EE and exposure/access to other designers, shows, prototypes and the development path...
I am also a recovering musician, and studied Music, and musical performance-
as well as curiosity,
a willingness to try (purchase) out music, equipment and accessories, and, more importantly, discard that which sounded or functioned poorly
