I thought I had two copies of his Three Pears LP, one of them autographed. Turns out I have two Dwight Sings Buck LPs, one of them autographed. I'm going to have to quit writing "if memory serves me" and start using "my memory swerves me" instead.
I didn't mean to imply that Yoakam is the only Country I enjoy. I also appreciate Johnny Cash, Willie, Patsy Cline, and Johnny Horton, among others. An ex girlfriend sour faced those as "Old Timey", while she liked the more modern Country Lite, watered down stuff.
If you ever get a chance to go see Junior Brown live, I highly recommend it, if you've never seen him. His albums don't come close to capturing his Git-Steel virtuosity. Hillbilly Hendrix, if you ask me.
Oh, and I have an FM station within reach, and they play a lot of Bluegrass, which I've grown to enjoy. I've read that you said you like that too, so we're on the same page there, as well.
