As Lawrence Welk would say, "Anna two"

Back in the mid-1970s I got caught up in that TAS "Live, unamplified music" mantra. While I certainly still understand it, I no longer heed it, and haven't for a long time.

By way of example, I bought Dhalquist DQ-10 speakers new, around 1976. While they had their merits, I know now that I could have done better for the Blues and Rock music I enjoy most. I tried listening to Jazz, Classical, and "audiophile approved" Cat Stevens, etc. but it just wasn't me, with a few exceptions.

There's nothing wrong with expanding your musical horizons, but ultimately changing my system to suit my music made a lot more sense than the other way around.
