(Perfect sound forever ... Woo-hoo!)I had a Crap-Fi system, my stylus required replacing and I was sick of replacing them. So I purchased a stylus, a CD player, and the aforementioned CD (I already had the vinyl version), and carted them all home to do an audio quality evaluation - to hear which was "better".
No contest. CD was superior (ha! foolish boy) in all ways (that I could hear from my Crap-Fi gear). So I proceeded to dump all of my vinyl and replace all of my albums with CDs.
Years later I discovered the heretofore unknown world of high-end stereo gear. And shortly thereafter realized I should not have donated those 300+ albums to the local library after all. Ugh.
