RE: Audiophile Speaker Setup Disc

Personally, I prefer using a mathematical formula, like the Cardas Room Set Up method, as a starting point and then refine by incremental adjustments to the side and front wall dimensions to the speakers. That can be accomplished with any music the listener knows really well. At some point, however, albums / CD's such as this are useful especially if they define where the imaging should be. I use one such CD by Nordost and another one called Sheffield Drive. Both have each track defined by where the imaging should be at a specific time. Such as, at 2:25 a drum roll will move from just beyond the left speaker to just beyond the right -- that sort of thing. The Sheffield Drive CD is available from Amazon.
