I don't think good foot tapping means good PRAT - though I suppose it means better than no foot tapping at all. For sure simple frequency response difference can make a difference in "foot tapping". So for maybe getting to first base on the subject you might be on to something.
Better PRAT to me has meant clearer and more sensible musical lines - ie. these lines not just distinct in time and detail but working together (as musicians do) to create a propulsive musical whole.
