Unfortunately, I agree....IMO, if you're around the 45-50ish generation,
we were only lucky to at least see some of the 50- 60s groundbreakers.
That group can be argued to death but they would include-the broken up Beatles,Zep,Who..insert..Sex Pistols,Clash and a handful of American bands who were part of that new wave/punk scene. First 3 records of Blondie?
1st of B-52's or Pretenders?
Besides, ANY of the above should only be played on a RECORD!
I am actually looking in the bins for that B-52's album(NO REISSUE!).Fond memories(80) of listening to "Dance this Mess Around" on a high end system and noticing the toy piano!
