When I was in Jr. High circa 1957, one of our teachers was big into Hi-Fi and stereo was pretty new on the scene. He brought in his equipment and set it up in the auditorium for our weekly "auditorium hour". One of the things he demonstrated was a recording of a train passing through. This album brought that memory back out of the cobwebs.
Thinking back, he must have had a really impressive system because I can remember that train going across the auditorium and feeling the rumble and the realism despite the size of the room (about 500 seats). It was one of the things that got me involved in this hobby.
