There is a 60 second sine wave sweep from top to bottom frequencies and then a second track from bottom to top which are called "Demagnetization Sweeps".

I program the CD player, turn them on and leave them to repeat for 6 or 8 minutes prior to serious listening.

Seems to open up the sound a little and just make everything subtly clearer.

The CD also has a "burn-in" track I used to use with new equipment.
