It was late 60’s when an older woman invited me to her apartment – after dinner she started spinning some vinyl recordings of the day mostly romantic vocals – it wasn’t until late in the evening and a few glasses of red wine later that I started to notice how lovely the audio was sounding – I’m sure the atmosphere played a major part – nevertheless by the time Frank Sinatra started on the ‘September of My Years’ album I knew this was worth investigating ... later I met Arthur Salvatore ... ☺
