since he frequented FJA during the mid 70s. His speaker system was indeed of his own assemblage modeled after the Fulton J. As for amplification, he was using an ARC EC-3 crossover, an early Peploe / Electronic Industries / ARC Dual 50 and an Ampzilla. I'm not sure of the third amp or how he had them distributed. As a hot blooded Cuban, he turned me onto other musical genres and artists like Stanley Clarke, Jim Hall, Flora Purim, among others. I was saddened when I learned of his passing several years back. Along with that of Randy Tomlinson.
I also remember John Fusilier as well. A former airline pilot, he would bring various prototypes of his speaker over to the shop for auditioning. And the funny way he pronounced the word for bass drivers. Instead of the first syllable sounding like "wool", he spoke of them as WOO fers. :)
