I agree that active is the best way to go. Indeed it's the way to go for all xovers, not just for subs. And no I don't have it, because I can't afford it and there is very little choice out there anyway. But I will add that generic electronic xovers are not ideal. You still need to custom design each xover for your speaker(actually the designer needs to).
