That reminds me of an intractable RFI problem that I tried to deal with 30 years ago. I had a workmate who was complaining about radio breakthrough from his turntable. The guy lived 200 yards from the main BBC transmitter for the whole of Greater London. 4 TV services on it plus ancillary radio services that were piggy backed on the huge mast. A massive transmitter (or transmitters). When I visited him the problem wasn't only his turntable. You could hear the audio of one of the TV channels quite clearly via his 3 bar electric fire!
