You're just an old fogey remembering the first time he heard a good stereo and living in the past with one-sweet-spot two-channel sound that rarely, if ever, sounds like live music no matter how good the stereo is.You refuse to admit the obvious superiority of surround sound where the listener can be transported into another venue to listen ... and with DVD music videos they can watch the band play on a huge screen.
The result, especially from DVD music videos, is much closer to a live concert than two-channel audio (although sometimes the music vgideo picture ruined by too many MTV-like edits)
