It states very clearly that a CONTINUOUS function in the frequency domain corresponds to an APERIODIC function in the time domain, while a DISCRETE function in the frequency domain corresponds to a PERIODIC function in the time domain.

And this is inherent in the very derivation of a Fourier transform. You don't have to rely on a single link, you can look this up in many places. And you can follow the derivation step by step to make sure it is right.

So you are correct if you confine yourself strictly to Fourier series, but this is just a subset of Fourier analysis.
