I have categorically stated at no stage does the signal exceed Nyquist. On what basis do you think I am making that statement? I can definitely state that at any point in time, the signal I was playing around decomposes into two (and only two) sine waves, both of which are well under Nyquist (and in fact, usually a lot less than Nyquist).I do agree with you that it's pointless to argue about it.
