I can't answer for Christine but for me Vinyl has the highest resolution but I hate it because it is a PITA to care for.

Vinyl is a love/hate relationship. Love the realistic sound quality but hate the care and cleaning of LPs and the stylus and the periodic adjustments to the turntable.

Classic Records makes 192kHz 24 Bit DVD-Audios that offer about 90% of the resolution of Classic Records 200 Gram LPs and they are extremely easy to play even though not quite as realistic.

What I like about high resolution Digital is that it gives me a vacation from the all the pains of LP playback with sound that is almost as good. It's my lazy way to enjoy music.

Happy listening,
Teresa
