My best audiophile LP pressings have less noise than many of my high resolution recordings

On many LPs even with headphones all I can hear is slight level of tape hiss. And that hiss is lower than the same recording in one of the digital formats Digital seems to extravagant tape hiss.

Well-made LPs on Virgin Vinyl do not have audible surface noise.

A new laser based analog medium will sound like LP, possibly even better than LP, I'm hoping as good as 2 Track 15ips Reel to Reel. But it will in no way sound like digital, as it will be kept analog from start to finish.
