Vinyl LP specs/measurements are difficult to come by. The most widely accepted figure for dynamic range seems to be 60 dB, but I have no clue about bandwidth. I've seen claims for the maximum bandwidth of a vinyl LP anywhere from 15 KHz to 60 KHz. If you can give me an accepted value for the maximum bandwidth of a vinyl LP, I can tell you whether you can really encode a few megabits per second.
