Re: What recording do you use to evaluate clarity/transparency of treble reproduction?

Keeping in mind the distance of the live recording to microphone, you might appreciate the natural sound of Harry James 'King James' on sheffield direct to disc, with Les DeMerle on kit. No limiters, compressors etc., just the natural sound of Zildjian cymbals played by a master.
