Since you like classic rock, Ride may appeal to you. The import OX4_The Best of Ride would probably be a better introduction. If you can't find that, Going Blank Again is their best release, though it's poppier.Low may interest you since they have a female drummer who frequently sings, and she has a beautiful voice. While their music could probably be classified as rock, with perhaps a tinge of folk, they usually play at very, very slow tempos, and create an introspective, stark, gorgeous sound.
The Dagons have a female lead singer, and create music that would fit right in on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. Poor recording quality, though.
