... as I have yet to find an excellent recording of cymbal sounds that would give me a realistic presentation of what live cymbals sound like.I used to play bass in bands with real drummers:-) and I still frequently go to small jazz/blues clubs and no recording I've found so far is faithful to the real thing in the cymbal dept. but I'm open to suggestions ;-)
BTW: my speakers are modified Newform R645s (ribbons) which have excellent HF response.
